  1. I am trying to "Acquire Image" in Affinity Photo for Mac, but I just get this screen. How do I change it back to the correct screen, in which I mistakenly clicked the wrong item in Acquire Image? This has most likely been covered before, but I haven't had any success locating this topic. Thanks in advance!
  2. Thanks for your help! Yes, I did find that, but although I placed mages in a separate "linked file" folder, the image does not update in Publisher if I update it. I guess I'll just have to do the change in the original file & Export it, and place it again in Publisher -- unless there is a procedure I should be following?
  3. Thanks for the information, but where do I find Affinity Publisher Preferences? Is it the same as Settings? (I use a Mac and I see this option in Settings). Also, how do I tell if an image is either linked or embedded?
  4. Not sure if this has already been covered in "Frequently Asked Questions", so here we go.... I have placed an image (built in Affinity Photo 2) in a new Affinity Publisher file, but I am wondering: if I decide to make changes to the photo, will it update in Publisher, or do I have to export the changed photo as a new image? Thanks in advance!
  5. Thanks, Garry. I was just wondering! So what add-ons should I be aware of?
  6. Back in April, I purchased the Affinity V2 Universal License and paid full price, having missed the Spring Sale. Just curious: I've seen the notifications for the 50% Off Sale, and I am wondering if cancelling my contract and repurchasing the suite would allow me to take advantage of this offer? Or should I leave things the way they are? Thanks in advance, Captain Maniac
  7. Thanks for the info -- I guess because I'm a new Affinity user (having used Adobe products for years), for a while this all will be foreign to me!
  8. Not sure if I'm using the correct terminology -- but I was thinking of the line around a text box as in the included file. How do I remove the lines around the text? Colin

  10. There are so many topics in "Frequently Asked Questions", so I thought I'd post a question here, if that's OK. How do I remove the frames around text or picture boxes, so they do not display on my document? Thanks in advance, Colin
