Okay....I think I just solved it, but seems almost like a flook, or a bit silly. 🤷♀️ I have been able to also download the fonts as a zip file, but then when uploading to my device I would click on each OTF file one by one. THIS time, I decided to drag and drop them into my Font Book, instead of clicking on each one. The first time I did this, I got the notice that it was a duplicate font, but then I tried it a second time and it worked. I have all 16 font styles and can use multiple variations at one time. It almost seemed like dragging them all at once, vs. clicking on the few I needed seemed to solve it. I'm not 100% clear on why, other than it was done simultaneously rather than one by one? Thank you ALL - for speaking up and sharing your insight regarding this situation. I think we should be good now! A bit of an odd situation...but it has been solved.

Yes, it's almost appearing that way... I'm able to download one at a time, but not all styles. So, perhaps that is a limitation with the 'free' version. I am waiting to hear back from my client regarding how they got the font.

The very first font style I download (for example "FilsonProBold") I get an install option. I don't get the "there is already a version installed" notice. But, after the first one, it's like they are seeing "FilsonProBold" the same as "FilsonProBook" and "FilsonProLight" etc... they are ALL being viewed as the same font and then I get the notice "there is already a version installed". That is why I keep selecting "Keep Both". If I select "Replace", then I'm only left with one font. If I select "Keep Both" then I have all of the fonts, but only one shows up in Affinity (the latest one I downloaded). Not sure if this gives more context....I will continue to try what you mentioned above, but wanted to mention that in case it gave further insight. Thanks.

Here are some screenshots... It's showing that I've downloaded 5 styles of the Filson Pro font (after deleted previous versions, clearing cache/ restarting in safe mode and re-opening Affinity after it was closed) However, despite having 5 styles...Affinity only ever shows the last style I downloaded, not ALL of them. So I can never use more than 1 style at a time. When I am downloading each style, Font Book tells me that "A version of this font is already installed", so I select "Keep both". I've had to do this in the past I believe with other fonts and all the styles still work. If there's anything I might be missing in the process, please let me know. Or I can film a loom video as well to follow step by step. Thanks for your help,

Thank you! Unfortunately I'm still having the same problem after clearing the cache, removing the fonts and re-downloading.

It seems as though I am having the same issue with the Filson Pro font. I have downloaded a variety of font styles onto my Mac (bold, book, italic, etc...) But only 1 will show up at a time in Affinity Designer (the most recent one I downloaded). It won't show all of them and I'm not sure why. So, I am limited to how I can use this font. In order to complete a project I am needing to use all font styles within the same document. Here is where I downloaded it, although I have tried various places https://font.download/font/filson-pro#google_vignette I would like to have ALL styles to work with at once in Affinity Designer. Is there a work-around?
