Weird. Perhaps color intent has not been implemented for macs.

When I print in ON1 Photo Raw I can choose color intent (perceptual or relative colorimetric). This option is not available when I print in Affinity Photo. Why is that?
-
When painting in the AP desktop version a circle is displayed which reflects the brush size. However, when painting in the AP iPad version a circle is not displayed. Why is that? IMO, the lack of a displayed circle inhibits accuracy.

Refine Selection Tool - Please consider displaying a circle when painting in Foreground and Background mode. Currently, there is no displayed circle which inhibits accuracy. Thanks.

What is the difference and purpose? Thanks.

I would recommend modifying the definition of the Exposure Adjustment in both Develop and Photo Persona.
Current definition - controls the highlight/shadow levels of the image. Drag the slider to the left to increase shadows, drag to the right to increase highlights.
Suggested definition - controls the brightness of the image. Drag the slider to the left to darken image, drag to the right to lighten image.

I received the AP workbook today. Great product but it arrived damaged due to inadequate packaging. You guys created a GREAT product but the workbook was shipped unsecured in a bubbled envelope. How do I get a replacement shipped with adequate packaging? Thanks.

Same here on Nikon D750. Please remedy - thanks!!!

I ultimately purchased AP iPad - Tap on Import from Photos within AP and then tap on Camera Roll.
-
Please add the iPad camera roll as an input source.
I shoot raw and jpeg on my iPhone. I transfer via Photosync my photos from my iPhone to my iPad's camera roll for editing when I do not have access to my iMac. Uploading raw files to Dropbox from an iPhone is not an option as iOS converts raw to jpeg prior to the upload.

Update: Please disregard this feature request as I figured it out.

I am considering buying this app. Can you open a photo from the camera roll?

Great stuff - thanks. I have a question regarding workflow. Most articles I have read suggest that correcting White Balance should occur prior to tonal adjustments. Just curious as to why correcting White Balance is at the backend of your workflow. Once again, great stuff.

Not sure I totally understand, but I will use the AD color picker to selects colors outside of AD. THANKS.

I created a square in Powerpoint and filled it with a reddish color.
Apple color picker - 236,93,112.
Frank DeLoupe color picker - 234, 94,111.
Affinity Designer color picker - 255,79,109.
Apple Color picker and Frank DeLoupe are close but Affinity Designer is not.
I then randomly sampled different colors with the Affinity Designer color picker and the Frank DeLoupe color picker and the results are quite different. Why is that?

Is there a quick way to reset the color selector to black and white? Why no default button? Thanks.

I am trying to better understand the Stroke Pane (i.e., cap, join, align). I tried Help and Tutorials but could not find any info. Any suggestions would be appreciate. Thanks.

There is a tiny vertical line beneath the center of a slider. Clicking on it resets the slider. Is that the only way to reset a single slider? Thanks.

Thanks. One more question. How is Exposure different than Brightness?

Is Blackpoint and Brightness the same as Blacks and Whites in most other Raw processing programs? If not then what? FYI, I've read the Help, but...

Printing - Color Intent
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Thanks but I understand rendering intent. Unlike the windows version of AP, rendering intent for the Mac is set in preferences not in the Print routine which IMO is somewhat convoluted.
