After backing up my files, if I remove the app from my iPad and reinstall it, only to "import' the projects I actually want to work on, will it fix this issue at least for the moment? Thanks

Unfortunately, for me, this didn't solve the issue. After I offloaded the app, the amount of "Documents & data" associated with Affinity Designer didn't change and some other cache took up some space so I now even cannot reinstall the Affinity Designer app.
