  1. Never mind folks. I took the same question to another forum and a very intelligent and polite woman asked me a couple questions, avoided criticizing and on her first try, not only solved it but did so by plainly listing the path to the area where I could change the spacing (using 3 words)... without needing a picture or file. Then a single sentence. I find it laughable that where she sent me was not mentioned ONCE by ANYONE here. AND FYI: NOT A SINGLE PERSON HERE EVER ASKED ME TO PROVIDE A SCREENSHOT OF MY ENTIRE SCREEN. So the criticism is invalid. Psenda, I started a new topic and it was not in a version 2 thread. I am just going to delete any more notifications without reading them. And it was so simple> Text tab> Show Character > Positioning and Transform. Last field box in left column.
  2. I did not notice one image did not have braces around the "9.6". Going back they are there and so is the problem. File attached. Walt et al: Line breaks are shift only There is one, and one only shift in between each line. I am not a regular user and just a novice. I am unfamiliar with some of the technical jargon, what it means and where to find it. If you could help to point me toward some things it would be appreciated. Remember AF PHOTO ver 1. I made a brochure for my friend years back. I have artistic skills and was rather proficient in Adobe. When my husband died and I retired, I chose not to continue with Adobe especially since I don't have a regular need and don't do a lot of graphics any more. I was able to make the original brochure very easily in AF PHOTO. Now she has moved and wants to revise it.
  3. Thomaso Please butt out. You are rude and arrogant. This is my first time here. I gave all of the in formation that my limited knowledge encompassed. When asked, I provided pictures. When told I needed more complete pictures I supplied them to the best of my ability. Clearly I'm rather a novice at this. I came here for help; not to be criticized for asking for help from someone more experienced than I am. Clearly you think you are the smartest person in the room and that EVERYONE should know everything that you do or they deserve your tongue lashings. I imagine that the only reason you come here is just to parade your brilliant, magnificent knowledge to validate your perceived superiority. I guess it figures, it's not the first time that attitude has been unleashed on the world. Notice that you are the only one that has been nasty; everyone else has actually tried to help in a polite manner. I have a PhD in Psychology. When someone asks me to help them on an issue within my field...(or any issue), I don't insult them for the way they asked, how they phrased it or hand out any kind of criticism. I am smart enough to assume that if they were an expert they wouldn't be asking the question. I ask, politely, for more information if I need it. Then I do my best to keep asking until I get what I need and try to explain the issues in a polite manner.
  4. Walt, sorry you had mentioned the "space" setting so that's all I copied. Thanks for being courteous.
  5. Outfi As my question stated I'm using af photo version 1. However, thanks fore being courteous!
  6. Psenda Thank you so much for being so courteous...this was my original question: "I'm using affinity photo 1. The line spacing is different between different text fields. When I highlight and check paragraph styles and text styles everything is exactly the same. Help!"
  7. Psenda as in my question, I'm using version 1. I do not find the options you have shown here. My "view" tab looks very different. Any idea where to find it in my version?
  8. Thomaso....read more carefully "When I highlight and check paragraph styles and text styles everything is exactly the same. " And there is no reason for you to be so nasty about responding to questions.
  9. I'm using affinity photo 1. The line spacing is different between different text fields. When I highlight and check paragraph styles and text styles everything is exactly the same. Help!
