  1. Thanks for suggesting the Toffu link. They have a very nice set of Architectural furniture for Design 2. These are the sets I purchased, through Toffu

  2. The Architecture drawings / graphic say: Software compatibility: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS3 or newer. Affinity Photo and Designer. CorelDRAW. + PNG files are suitable with almost every graphic software. I saved them to my desktop in a file, open the file and I can see each individual pieces are separate and grouped. I selected all, and dragged them into the Assets, in a new category I created. I can see they are in there, but when I tap on one, it does not open and I cannot see them as individual pieces of the architecture furniture. I will keep working on it. At least I can open the file and copy and paste. It is just not in the saved assets. Thanks

  3. I am assuming all of the vector drawings and graphics that are compatible with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will also be compatible with Affinity Design and Photo. Thanks very much. I just recently updated to V2 package, after using Affinity Photo for years on the Mac and Designer on the iPad.

  4. I guess Apple IOS is different. There is not an option:  Window > Layers  to reactivate. There is an option that says "Replace Tiled Window", but it is light, not an option to use.

I tried Separated mode, and all the windows separated and I could see once again layers. When I brought the windows back together, it disappeared once again. At least I can keep it as a separate mode to see the layers, but it's not ideal way to work. Any other suggestions? Maybe someone who has a Mac? Thanks for trying.

Here are the options in a screen shot:

  5. I guess I am not follow you, "Create Artboards". When I open File/ New Document,  I have the options to choose: Print, Press Ready, Photo, Web, Devises (iPad,...) , Architectural. Print includes the different paper sizes. I do not see any option Create Art Boards.

There are the options under New, which are open, recent, templates, samples. I believe all of these are within the Art Board, since I have all the tools on the left side.

There is an Art Board tool, 2nd tool down.

  6. I am new to Designer 2. I have been using Affinity Photo for years, and I understand both have their different advantages. I first created the new document as an A3 document. Later discovering I can use Arch 3. I assume this is an Art Board, or how do I know if it is Art Board?

I clicked on the Unit of Measurement at the intersection of the ruler, but there was no option to change to meters.

  7. Thanks for the support. I tried right clicking on the horizontal ruler, nothing happens. I have a MacBook Pro, with track pad, which may work differently than Windows.

The scaling I used to create the floor plan in Design 2, was 1": 1ft, and I change the 1ft to 6ft. It was set up 1in : 6ft in the Drawing scale. I set the measure tool to 10' first.

I went in to the Document settings, and changed the units to meters. Then changed the measure tool from 1:1 to 1:72. That made the correct calculation for 10ft to 3.048m. It now shows the correct scale. It would be nice if there was an easier way the program calculated the scale from the ft to Mts.

The only other question, and this is a different subject, how do you rotate the document 90 degrees. I only see the option to rotate left or right, which takes 6 moves to rotate 90. Photo Affinity has the option to rotate 90 degrees clockwise or counter clockwise.
