Affinity Photo opens and closes instantly !! [SPLIT]

Stedicam posted a topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I just purchased Affinity Photo 2 from B&H. It will launch but as soon as it opens, it crashes and disappears. I have tried repeatedly and always the same. Rebooted and the same. I'm reading years old posts on here about this problem. Why is it still a problem after all this time?
