Yes, that now works. I've only been( re)looking at Affinity Photo for a few minutes. This is the first thing I've tried and there is already a bug...

In Designer 2 is it possible to see items moved off the artboard and on to the dark grey 'desktop' around the artboard? I've just moved an item into the surrounding desktop and now can't see it

I'm using a Mac.
Holding the Option key and scrolling zooms in and out.
But pressing 'Control' and '1' keys, or 'Option' and '1', or Command and '1' doesn't do anything

I'm trying to export a photo for web use, using the Photo Export. I want to be able to preview different quality settings. There is a preview of the image, but it is very small, 14%. How can I see it at 100% size?

With clip to canvas not selected I can see objects on the pasteboard (regardless of whether they are entirely or party on the pasteboard).
I've simply made an A4 document. Is this an artboard? It sounds like an object can't be seen in documents containing Artboards?
