I have made a test case of an issue I am having with Affinity Designer. The attached AD file has only two pieces of text: the word "TEST" and a bullet.
If I show both, export to PDF, then open in Acrobat it looks right but fails on print. I get the attached errors.
If I hide the bullet by clearing the tick box in the Layers panel, then export to PDF, it opens and prints fine in Acrobat.
So it seems that exporting the bullet to PDF breaks printing in Acrobat. I came across this issue while trying to work around the lack of support for bullets in AD. I am using:
OS X 10.11.3
Affinity Designer 14.1
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2015.010.20059
