  1. Hello... SO impressed with the whole Affinity line. I'm trying really hard to get rid of my monthly payment of $30 to Adobe Design. Does anyone know of a good replacement for Adobe Acrobat? (I know this is pushin' it.. but what about Bridge? :-) thanks!!! ALSO... is there a way to get an email notification when a reply is posted? Thanks!!!
  2. THANK YOU! Actually, that's where I was so I looked into it more. It defaults to Anchor to Page, which was cropping it. When I put it on Rescale, it worked. Thanks again!!
  3. Sorry... I know this is really basic, but I can't find the solution! In Fireworks, when I want to resize an image, it literally resizes it (i.e., from 3000px width, to 500px width). But in AD, all I can find is a crop and not a resize. I don't want to upload a 3000px photo to my website. So what is the equivalent to this procedure here? Thank you!!
  4. Hello... What is the Affinity equivalent to this? Thank you!!!!!!!!!! :-)
  5. I was coming to ask the same question! I'm so 'over' paying $29 a month for the Creative Suite. And this is POWERFUL! So impressed!!!
  6. I know this is the most basic of basic, but I can't find it. I'm going 'cold turkey' off Fireworks, and am SPELLBOUND with the power of this $39 program. I could maybe get rid of my Creative Cloud $29 per month charge if I can use A.D. instead of Fireworks AND Illustrator. BUT... one of the first things I tried to do was to delete a selection made with the selec. brush. I don't want to mess with masks nor layers, I just want to 'erase it' off the jpg, png (or whatever) image. After selection, even if I go to the Edit menu, CUT is not available. Delete says to use the Delete key, but it doesn't work either. What am I missing in such a SMALL thing. Feel so stupid asking such a basic question. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ess
