Joining curves button greyed out

bubbles53 posted a topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Having purchased this product as an alternative to AI I find the Joining Curves button is greyed out [ Windows user] . I need this as I design sewing patterns and all the help videos feature this button but it's not much use if it is greyed out.
