Open Affinity Photo from OS X dock?

Troper posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I cannot open Affinity Photo from my dock in OS X El Capitan. I have to quit the application, remove from dock then reload from applications or go through the purchase option and open from there. Please help me to enable opening from the dock as with all other applications.
