Designer closes without reason (split)

Hi I am new to the affinity 2 Design program, I have used Illustrator in the past and Photoshop. I am using the test program with a view to purchasing. I have been working on it for a few hours today trying to get my head around it. I have had it close for not reason and then I loose some of what I have been doing. This can be frustrating, does anyone if there is a problem or bugs to be aware of. Thanks Kerrie
