  1. i am outsourcing the printing to a company who use DTG printing. they request Png files without overly bright colors
  2. thanks, i tried what you wrote in the article, but it doesn't make it any better at the end i need to use high amounts of noise.
  3. i am using a cmyk color profile because it is for printing, is there any other way to solve this without noise, because i need to add a lot of noise to fix this also does dithered gradient option affect the exported image ?
  4. thanks for your answer, i understand that for gradients. i will try to apply some noise, but why it is also so bad on pixel brushes, please see the one on my first comment, i also tried spray brushes and the also have some banding, i dont think that i have this a month ago
  5. i even see this on pixel brush, please see the black strokes of the soft edge pixel brush it is banding please help
  6. Hi in affinty designer 2.2.1 i have noticed a bad quality unsmooth gradient and gaussian blur, i dont know why, but the dithering gradient option is enabled, and it its more bad whend it is disabled, adding some noise to the color can smoothen it a little bit but not resolving the problem. help please, thanks this is the gaussian blur and this is the gradient
  7. Hi i am having trouble using affinity pixel brushes with high sizes (2000 pixel or more) the painting become slow and lagging it takes few seconds to see the brush paint. for example, both brushes dense wash and salty wash are some of the brushes i having trouble with. i tried to turn off compute acceleration without any improvement, what i can do to improve the speed of brush? i have to use big document 36 X48 inches, and i am using a laptop with windows 11 OS with the following hardware: processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H 2.30 GHz RAM: 16 GB GPU: G-force RTX 3060 SSD hard disk please help, thank you
  8. thanks for your reply i am trying to make sure that it will be printed in high quality, also i make the design size double of the real printing size, i make 36X48 inch document size to print on 18X24 canvas or poster, with all of that i still have concerns about the printing quality so i am asking to know if other people with experince know something about this
  9. Hi i want to make some designs to be printed on canvas and posters with affinty designer 2 with a painting or watercolor style, i tried the pixel brushes and vector brushes (i know the are stretched pixels) but both seems blurry when exporting png, i decided to improve the brushes quality buy tracing as vector in Inkscape then export at high quality, i made one vector brush and one pixel brush both from a very high quality image, about 20k pixels, then tried it in a 400 dpi 36x48 inch document (about 14000x19000 pixels) this is the result i got, i am confused if it is good for printing since it looks slightly blurry and pixelated when zooming more than 100% do you think the quality is high enough to be printed on posters and canvas with 18X24 as maximum size? also, how can i know when using the brushes if the are good to be printed? does anybody tried to print pixel work in affinty designer ? thanks the red and blue strokes are vector brush, the other are from a pixel brush
