Actually it was a file I previously worked on in Illustrator, which I renamed to .pdf and imported into Designer. Probably
there are some hidden unsupported properties Designer doesn't tell us about. But toggling the blend mode seems to
get rid of the problem. Of course it would be great if Designer would tell us what exactly is causing rasterization on
export.

Well maybe this is just a bug v_kyr. I just reopenend the svgExport2.afdesign file, selected the Group, switched
the blend mode to 'Normal' and upon exporting to .svg nothing got rasterized. Interestingly, even if I switch back
to 'Passthrough' it's still working flawlessly.

Wow! Absolutely brilliant Walt - you're the man! The culprit was indeed the 'Passthrough' blend mode.
(Though I can't remember activating it
)
Thank you!

Hi all!
Well, this is drivin' me nuts. I've a quite complicated artwork consisting of tons of layered vector
shapes and as soon as I export it to .svg everything gets rasterized. To make things easier to bug-fix I
copy & pasted a single shape out of the artwork to a new file, which exhibits the same behaviour on export.
The file is attached too! Can someone please enlighten me what exactly is happening here?
Thanks!

Affinity Designer 1.10.6 - Plain single colored vector shape gets rasterized on SVG export
in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Well it can import and display the .pdf just fine - inside Designer. So it doesn't matter if it's not a 100% Designer-made
content. That's why I said it would be great if it'd would tell us a little bit more what's happening on export. By the way
I also had that problem with a pure Designer project too. There was a gradient which also caused rasterization which I
could not find a reason for. With some clicking here and there and some more clicking and trying other things it finally
did not rasterize the shape on export. Unfortunately I could not reproduce the issue subsequently. Well I'm sure it will
happen again.
