  1. Thank-you both for your replies, I realised i  had not "Resized Document" to 5" x 7" and > saved as  before printing. And alas now the green dots inside print-preview box has disappeared :)    and down to a white border on just one side.  I think i better had immerse myself in reading the ip8750 manual thank-you for providing the Canon link, homework it is then.

Best get the up to date driver too :)  When ready to add the download, do i just tick "adding software"  and don't have to tick all the boxes eg. My Garden. Is it like starting from square one all over again getting the latest driver ?  Do you have to go through the long, nail biting  scarey process of reconnecting  your printer to get it online again ?

  2. Hi Hangman,

Thank-you for your reply. You are very patient, sorry i am trying to provide a better explanation of my problem by adding  photographic examples that are on my i-phone but Affinity Forum won't let me saying "email address is already in use". So i'll try my best describing more the problem. The Canon ip8750 is well able to print 5" x 7" (with no unwanted borders) and can even print smaller 6" x 4 " (with no unwanted thin white border) as i have them framed on my wall. Which Manual are you referring to please ?

  3. Hi Hangman, Thank-you for your reply i hope you are well ? I am using Windows with a Canon ip8750.  When i select "Fit to Printable" the print preview box has a green dotted line inside it. And then when i print it, sure enough there are two thin white borders, where the green dotted lines where. My question is how do i eradicate this problem please ?

Is there a tutorial somewhere on printing please ? as there is scant information on printing with Affinity. Books i have bought about Affinity and even the official workbook written by Affinity themselves, hasn't anything about printing in there :(PIC 1.emlPIC 1.emlPIC 1.emlPIC 1.eml
