You can create the graph using some other software – e.g. LibreOffice Calc – and then export the graph – as PNG, SVG, PDF, etc. – and then place the result into your Affinity document.
(If you use a linked document then the Affinity document should auto-update when you re-export after changes.)
It can be a little difficult to keep colours and fonts to be the same across both applications but a bit of planning usually helps a lot.

    Apologies.
From how I read what you wrote it sounded like the only thing stopping you from dropping Adobe was the ability to get graphs into Affinity documents; I just didn't read it properly.
Graphing capabilities have been requested quite a few times, so maybe something will come soon, perhaps, possibly? (I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for it though.)

Hi there! Congrats on the new launch! I couldn't give you my money fast enough! Your new solution to solving for lack of sideloading and upgrade capabilities on iOS is fantastic! You really came up with a seamless and elegant solution while also removing the need to pay such high fees to Apple for your App Store sales! This makes me confident in being able to continue to support Serif and ensure that you are getting ALL the money for future development. Im so glad to be able to pay for Affinity's ongoing growth.
I know in the past it was discussed that graph and chart tools for data visualization would be adopted in a future version of Affinity Publisher. Is that still a plan? Even if we can get something ruidimentary for now, I would be forever grateful. Based on the horrible tools we use in Adobe Illustrator, the entry point bar is set incredibly low. I know for my design team, we deal with lots of scientific data and financial charting, this would make your suite closer to bullet-proof.
Please let me know if this is a moot point and I'm overlooking an existing feature. And I have to say, you have me at WARP GROUPS! The way your team has incorporated the essetial tools and reimagined them to be next level is unreal. Your team is redefining how we work and I am so thankful for it!
    Best!

    Hi @segts,
Are you able to upload your Illustrator file so we can take a look at what might be going on? Does your Publisher document use single or facing pages?

'Secret of the desert'. Vector drawing created in Affinity Designer. Original is 6 x larger - 183 x 103 cm - showing much more detail. Work in progress (update July 16 2021) - stage sequence:
    https://communicats.blogspot.com/2021/07/desert-scene-vector-drawing.html
Included in the above blog entry are 100% vector support drawings, like the Saluki hunting dog, the skull, the flower the armed guard and the Arabian sword as well.
At this point my computer is barely capable of rendering the image. Although I consider it still to be a work in progress (I intend to vectorize everything in this image), I feel I am forced to put this drawing aside for the time being, while I am looking for options to render the drawing at a reasonable pace.

I made a quick update to my avatar since I recently shaved. I drew the image in Medibang, traced the image in Inkscape and then cut apart and colored in Designer. This is my go-to process for illustration work.

Thank you! The head was taken from an illustration I did for one of my coloring books. I just tweaked the eyes and vectorized the line art. Thankfully the head was on separate drawing layers.  It's one of the drawings I have featured on the Pigment coloring app for iPad and mobile.

Thought I'd add a quick shirt I did for work using Designer. I love the variable width tool for strokes. Is there a trick to matching up the two ends instead of eyeballing on the iPad?
