On my Mac desktop, when I open Affinity Photo I am faced with 3 floating panels on my Mac desktop together with all the files etc that are on my Desktop. When I then open an image I am presented with a small window containing that image . I then have to drag that window to fill my desktop and hide all that the desktop contained. How can I open Affinity with a workspace just containing the three panels ready to load an image into. Grateful for advice Barry Screen Shot 2018-10-17 at 18.28.44.pdf

Hi, Maybe not the correct forum but, I purchased Affinity Photo version 1.3, I notice there is now version 1.4. How do I upgrade to this version? Photoshop does inform the owner of previous versions. Grateful for help. Barry
