I didn't think the text color should be an issue either, but apparently that was the cause... Can anyone explain why the grey text wouldn't just sit on top?

Yeah, not sure how passthrough was selected. Changed all to normal. I was thinking it may be ExploringIT3 layer as well. Expanded it and cleaned up the weird groupings. I did discover that the "Exploring" & "Solutions" are Artistic Text Tools, while "I.T." is a Frame Text Tool. I think I did this because the period (.) wasn't working with this particular font type. I don't think this is the issue, though. All text is still sitting behind the Curve (mountain).

So I'm trying to do a pretty simple procedure (or so I thought). I have this mountain shape that I would love to sit behind the text, but nothing is working. I've tried adjusting the layer up and down, changing the passthrough function, and even playing with masking, even though it's not what I wanted. Any thoughts on what I might have done to keep the shape sitting on top? Thanks for the help!
