Multiple Artboard Does Not Export Layered PDF
in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I'm currently exploring Affinity Designer 2.0 with the plans of migrating coming from ADOBE. However, I would still need my files readily available for Illustrator in case suppliers or my work would require the editable file. I was successfully able to do this by exporting my single artboard to PDF (for export) settings. But when I attempted to export multiple artboards, the file turns to a single raster image in Illustrator.
Is there a workaround to this?
P.S. I hope I am just missing out on certain steps needed coz I'm loving Affinity Designer already.
