  1. Windows 11 has a feature where you can hover over the FULL SCREEN icon at the top-right of a window and a option box opens to show you different available screen layouts that you can choose from. If I didn't explain it well, Google "Snap Layouts." Couldn't figure out how to take a screen movie of a dynamic process. Anyway, this doesn't seem to be implemented in Affinity Designer 2[.1.1]. It would be swell if it could be implemented.
  2. Like I said, NEWBY. Guess I couldn't figure out how to do it. Trying to do a project for my home and, evidently, doing it poorly. Guess I'll have to work it out the best I can.
  3. I have attached a screenshot of the layers box. I deleted all the GROUPS. Under STICK are just a bunch of "curves" I guess representing things I have edited/added in that layer. Do I need to GROUP everything in that layer to EXPORT that layer? Or just EXPORT with the Selected option? Thanks for all the help.
  4. Firstdefense said, "Looks like you have a mask layer on the STICK Layer, is that on purpose?" I never added a mask. Don't even know what they are. Each time I try to erase a portion of the STICK layer, a MASK shows up under the STICK entry in the LAYERS list. Why? Is everything in the STICK layer ALREADY grouped? When I Ctrl-A > Ctrl-G, I get a sublayer GROUP under the STICK entry. Do I need to group everything in the STICK layer, or is it already "grouped?" Pretty obvious I need some training. Can anyone answer my second question? If I EVER get the STICK layer exported by itself, I would like to IMPORT it into CAD program (QCAD) for further editing. Can/How do I do that?
  5. Imported a photo of the front of my house into AD. Created a second layer (STICK) and drew the outline of my house. Tried to GROUP all objects on STICK so it would export as 1 group [Clicked on STICK layer > Ctrl-A > Crtl-G]. Noticed I'd left out some lines and added them. Grouped layer again. All my work has disappeared. Screenshot1.png is the layer box of AD. HouseStick.png is what is USED to look like. AfterGrouping.png is what is looks like now. What'd I do wrong? If I EVER get the STICK layer exported by itself, I would like to IMPORT it into CAD program (QCAD) for futher editing. Can/How do I do that? HELP! Thanks.
