  1. Hello @DSal, Did you try to copy a file to your computer first and then open it from your hard drive? You can also attach one of those files here (if you can) so we can try to open it from our end.
  2. First of all please make sure that you have selected the move tool and and not the node tool. Secondly, do not double click when you want to drag the group. Just click on the group only once and then drag.
  3. This is a hammer approach but did you try to restore your Affinity Photo app to its original state by holding the Control key when launching the app. This unfortunately will reset all your preferences, etc. Other users found that deleting the mru.dat file from the following location works for them: /Users/xxxx/Library/Application Support/Affinity Photo 2/mru.dat
  4. Hello @Rob SF, I'm not sure what's going on but don't look at the remaining list of Find when you click Replace All button. Check the text itself to convince yourself that the changes have been made.
  5. Hello @Piktom Designbüro, I replaced the font with Arial. Please note that I'm using Publisher v2.0.4. RaK-Sinne_Inhalt_RZ2.afpub
  6. Try to option-click on the file (or Windows equivalent) and select Affinity Designer. That will open your file in the Designer. Alternatively, launch the Designer and open the file in question from there. (File->Open)
  7. Hello @Piktom Designbüro, This is strange. I have dowloaded your Publisher file and PDFed it successfully. Please see the attached file. All images are OK. Obviously, the font is not right. Can you try to select PDF Press Ready when exporting to PDF. RaK-Sinne_Inhalt_RZ2.pdf
  8. Great. Forgot to mention that I have no problems switching from facing pages to single pages. This could be a subtle bug worth investigating by the support team.
  9. Hello @Neil22th, Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear to have a problem with this. You don't need to switch to single pages in order to export your work to PDF. I assume you are exporting your work to PDF to send it to the printer. Just select Export from the File menu and choose All pages from the Area pop-up menu and you should be good to go.
  10. In that case you need to create a document palette by clicking on the burger menu in the Swatches Panel and selecting Add Document Palette... option.
  11. This is the crux of the matter. It's not Adobe that provides this plugin but another company. Same with Affinity. Once Affinity releases its plugin development environment, a lot of companies as well as Indi developers will step in to fill that gap/need. Unfortunately, nobody except Affinity know when this is going to happen.
  12. I'm not sure what you want to do but in order for the colour well to display the colour of the rectangle you need to make sure that you select the rectangle first.
  13. I also printed your page on VersaLink C400 Xerox Laser Printer and it prints fine. So the product is just fine. I think you should check your printer.
  14. Wold you be able to describe the options you select when exporting to PDF?
  15. Hello @Jim Saunders, These are invisible characters that you can disable by unticking (deselecting) Text->Show Special characters. (as per your screenshot) On a personal note, these are vey "wanted" characters. I have this option on all the time. This allows me to see whether I have double-spaces in my text and all other things. They are harmless and they don't print.
  16. I tried to open your file in Publisher 2 and Designer 2 with no luck, sorry. Have you updated to the latest versions of your Affinity apps. If you are still in v1 then try to update to the latest v1 releases. If that doesn't work then, hopefully, support can chime in.
  17. Can you please try the following method first. No guarantees but it might just work.
  18. I hope you are aware that 2.0.4 is out. It would be instructive to check how Publisher 2.0.4 performs for you.
