Yeah, thats if we put our images into a glyph. We could go down a black and white path with our images into a custom font to replace, but we have custom art that we want to replace with. We rate this 4/5. We rate this <image>. So right now, we can replace the 4/5 with an image using pinning to get it aligned correctly, but I have 30 text boxes with text that needs this to happen.

I have some text where a lot of the text will be replaced with images. For example: "This is a <red icon>, this is a <blue icon>." for example will become "This is a 🔴, this is a 🔵." I can currently place an image in the text and using the pinning feature get this similar to the above. However this is extremely time consuming. I have also considered using a custom font and this would work well for us, but we're interested full color, using full color fonts leads us down a path I don't want to follow currently. Are there any good workflows for this?

This still seems to be the case in 2.2, does anyone know when this might be fixed?

Yeah, that works, but it's a shame, we do a lot of relinking in our process and we just need to keep removing and adding these frames. Its more of an issue.

Hi There, Does anyone know how I can find what data field an image frame is mapped to and if I can remove the map to remap to another data field? I can do that with text fields easily, but when I link an image, I can only figure out to delete the image frame and re-add it and merge it again.

@stokerg, just uploaded two files to the link. In v2,1 just opening the afpub file and trying to update, remove, add a new data source, I'm getting either crashes or the dialog above. I've downgraded back to v2,0,4 and its working fine. My files are technically on my Google Drive location on macOS 13.4, but I also tried moving the files to local file system avoiding Drive shares and nothing helped. EDIT: Describing step by step my issues: 1. open afpub file in Publisher, by double clicking file. 2. navigate to menu WINDOW -> Data Merge Manager window 3a. click the bin icon on the bottom of the dialog, Publisher 2 crashes 3b. repeat 1-2, click update data source if path was correct, Publisher can not find source data as above image

I'm getting a similar issue, I can't add or update data sources.
