  1. Say what?! Ok… I’ll have to try this. I’ve been opening in the free version of the Lightroom app and opening as DNG.
  2. Uh… Yeah, I figured that out on my own already lol Thankssss! Easy fix for my Sony a7iii, but that still doesn’t solved the problem of the pictures I take with my iPhone.
  3. I only have an IPad Pro at the moment. Whenever I try saving them somewhere in Files… it converts them to JPEG 🤦🏻‍♂️ The only way it develops any RAW images are the ones that are only in RAW format with no JPEG preview… and saved to Files first. The RAW images in Apple Photos are all pretty much useless.
  4. I just updated Affinity Photo with the next update… Still doesn’t work. This is some serious bullshit.
  5. Unfortunately, I don’t own a Mac 😔 And I’ve tried this on both my RAW images taken with my Sony a7iii and my iPhone 12 Pro. Well… I guess I’ll have to have no JPEG preview set on my Sony from now on! 😂
  6. Any updates on this situation? If I didn’t have the original Affinity Photo… I’d probably be pretty pissed right now 🙂
  7. Working on: iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (5th generation); iPadOS 16.5 Open AP2.1 > Open > Import From Photos… opens photo as a jpeg, not into development mode like it did before the update. I use my iPhone 12 Pro and Sony a7iii… from the Photos Gallery. When it’s just a RAW image without a jpeg preview in Files… it goes into development mode.
  8. How did you get to that point? I can’t open any of them… I wonder if I open it from Files instead of the Photo Gallery 🤔
  9. *sigh* I just tried this and it still doesn’t open my RAW files into development mode.
  10. Hi! After updating Affinity Photo 2 to 2.1 on my iPad Pro, I can’t develop my RAW images anymore. It opens it as a regular image. I don’t believe the process of opening RAW images has changed has it?
