Just in case someone else bumping into this. Feature was in fact implemented! It is hiding under "Transform:" section at context toolbar (under red magnet). Only shows up with node tool active Here is a quick demo with "Transform mode" and "Enable transform origin" options enabled: AD-bounding-box-transform-nodes.mp4
