Removing white fringe on Affinity Designer after removing white background
in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Greetings!
I removed a white background element from an Affinity Design vector graphic and it left that white fringe around it. Is there a good tutorial on how to remove it using Affinity? There are a couple I have seen regarding Photoshop, but I'd rather not have to turn it into a raster, export to photoshop, fix it, export it to Illustrator only to import it back to Affinity Design. Help please!
