Designer 2.1.0 crashes after start (split)

in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I'm having this crash on start on the entire suite after updating to 2.1.
Win10.
I've tried the steps above with appdata, clear settings with CTRL key, etc. to no avail.
Tried both MSI and MSIX installers.
Any other suggs?

I really need to get back to a working state with Designer 2 again. Is there a way I can just re-download 2.04?
