  1. This is correct behaviour for now. I'm pretty sure our developers have plans to use a universal Affinity folder instead.
  2. Hi mdouglas11, welcome to forum :) They should work fine. Have you tried ticking the extensions within System Preferences > Extensions > Photos instead to see if that works?
  3. Have you had this issues again since you last reported it?
  4. Sorry for not replying sooner. If you export the image to JPG with the quality set to 30 and Embed ICC profile un-ticked the image will look the same as the image exported from PSE with a similar file size.
  5. Hi Dietmar.Harms, welcome to the forum :) Thanks for the info! Is it possible to attach an image saved from PhotoLine to this thread? This will allow me to investigate further :)
  6. Glad to hear that you've found a better way of doing it :) Hehe. Hoping season 3 isn't too far away :) Hope you had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
  7. Sorry for not replying sooner. Is it possible to PM me a link your images as they're not attached to your above post :)
  8. Thanks for getting back to me. You seem to be missing the Expand button. This is a known issues on Mac OS X 10.8. Luckily our devs have fixed this in the latest beta build. It can be downloaded here.
  9. Reinstalling Affinity Photo or Neat Noise Reduction plugin won't help at the moment. The plugin only appears to work with PS and Aperture. Perhaps you could contact Neat Image to see if they have plans to add support for Affinity Photo in the future :)
  10. Not sure at the moment as it's a part of the app our devs are still working on. When we know more, we'll let everyone know :)
  11. Sorry for the length of time getting back to you. It's been real busy with the launch of the update and Christmas. Anyhow, the samples shown in my original post were downloaded from Wikipedia. However, you can create a similar mask by creating a layer and selecting an individual part of the image and fill with black, white, grey or a gradient fill, depending on the effect your want. You will repeat this for all objects within the image. Once you've selected all objects, you will then merge them together and Rasterise to a Mask. This is a very brief explanation, so if you need more info let me know :) It's not possible to change the focus colour from White to Grey.
  12. Welcome to the forums cristaline :) Try right clicking the layer and selecting Rasterise. This will remove the cropped data :)
  13. Hi infohou, welcome to the forums :) The .pct file isn't supported. In Quicktime you can copy a frame of a video by going to Edit > Copy. You can then use File > New from Clipboard in Affinity Photo to edit. Feel free to download the Affinity Photo Trial to test it from here: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/photo/
  14. Welcome to the forum Spidercrab :) When exporting to .SVG there's an option in the More section called Set viewBox that when un-ticked will give you the correct Width & Height. More information can be found here.
  15. Hey! You're not missing anything. The Flood Selection tool is missing the option - there's a post in the Feature Request section asking for it to be added here. :)
  16. I don't have the fonts available so I used Arial as the replacement. The file looks the same for me when exported and opened in other apps. You could try selecting your text and converting to curves ( Right click > Convert to Curves ) before exporting to see if that helps. Alternatively, send me the fonts used in your document via PM and I will investigate further.
  17. Welcome to the forums L C :) There's an Edit With option in Capture One that allows you to take images from Capture One and edit them in another app. I don't think it's working correctly with Affinity Photo when using TIFF. More information can be found here. However, if you use JPG it should work - I just tested the trial version and it worked. I know a lot of users on this forum use CO, hopefully they will pop in and share their experiences with you :)
  18. Try changing your document to RGB/8 with the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile selected and try again. I've had this issue before and I'm sure this fixed it. Keep us updated :)
  19. As long as you have Snap to spread and Snap to object bounding box selected, it should work fine. You could try increasing Screen tolerance to see if that works any better. Do you get the same issue when using your mouse or trackpad instead of the Wacom tablet?
  20. Madame is correct. Try going to File > Export :) Welcome to the forums!
  21. Welcome to the forums Chriss :) I would convert the Star to curves ( Right click > Convert to curves ) and use the Node Tool to adjust the shape to fill the desired dots.
  22. Hi Sway, welcome to the forums :) Sorry to hear that you're having issues exporting. Are you saving locally or to an external device? If you try and export to your Desktop do you get the same error?
