  11. Welcome to the forum! This isn't an error i've seen so far with MSIX. I can only suggest that you download the MSIX again to make sure it's not corrupted and/or try installing the app using the Powershell method mentioned here: Let me know how you get on.
  12. Which Firewall are you running? Does it tell you which URLs it's trying to connect to/blocking?
  13. I'm locking this thread as most users who have experienced issues regarding payment have made other threads asking for help. Our Customer Service team are working through all forum replies, emails and social contacts as fast as they can and will reply to your thread as soon as possible. In the meantime, please read the below FAQ which explains the issues you're encountering and why. Please try to avoid creating multiple posts/threads/emails about the same issue - it won't make the Customer Service team work any quicker than they already are. As it mentions in the banner above, thank you for your continued patience.
  14. I've been unable to see this message on the start up screen but I'm guessing it's just a check to see if there's MS Store licence on the machine. We won't be sharing any data with the MS Store if you've downloaded and installed the MSIX version from our website.

  17. I can confirm that this issue can also cause the error: "Cannot open app package. Error in parsing the app package". I've created an FAQ here:
  18. This can happen if the AppX Deployment Service (AppXSVC) is disabled for some reason. It can be enabled by following the below steps: Press the Windows Key + R Type Regedit into the Run dialog and press OK Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AppXSvc In the right pane double click on Start Change Value data to 2 and press OK Now restart your computer and try installing your Affinity V2 app again.
  19. I was the one who hidden your original post. Users shouldn't have to reinstall Windows to get our apps working correctly and we would prefer that issues with our apps, particular performance related issues are logged with us to investigate. Reinstalling Windows may have resolved the issue for now but what's to say that the issue doesn't reoccur and needs further investigation later. I will leave this post up but it's not something we (Serif) would recommend users do if they run into issues with our apps. Please log any issues you may find in the Bugs section here - We're extremely busy at the moment after the V2 launch but we will respond to all forum threads, email tickets and social contacts as fast as we can
