Welcome to the forums ckell928 :) Affinity Designer doesn't have Mesh Warp/Perspective distortion tools at the moment. They're on the AD roadmap and will be added at a later date. Affinity Photo has raster based Mesh Warp and Perspective distortion tools. You could download the FREE 10 day trial from here to create the text and then take the file into AD for further editing.

Tried downloading a few of our videos on Vimeo and they're working fine here. Which ones are you having trouble with? Have you tried using Safari?

R C-R is correct. This seems to be an issue relating to your hardware. There's a similar thread here on the Apple forum.

Are you able to record your screen, with QuickTime, while using the Colour Replacement Brush Tool? This will allow me to see what's happening and advise further. Alternately, you could attach the image you're using so I can try it at my end.

You could also hold down the CTRL key while launching the app to reset the app back to its defaults. You will be prompted to Clear User Data. Click Select and then Clear Data. See if that improves things. If not then let us know as it should just work. Oh, and welcome to the forums :)

I've been playing with this some more and I'm not sure if this is working correctly. I'm going to log this with our devs.

The thing to remember is that the Colour Replacement Brush Tool only replaces the colour's hue of the pixels in the base image. The foreground colour that you've selected will appear different when used on the base image because the Luminance and Saturation of the base image is retained. We don't have one at the moment but I will pass your comments to the team responsible for our tutorials/video tutorials to see if it's possible in the future. Thanks for the update. Are you running the latest version ( 1.4.1 ) of Affinity Photo? Do you get the Context menu when right clicking on the Canvas?

I've been playing with this on and off and I'm not seeing the poor anti-aliasing that you are. However, I do get the random line being added to the top of the circle - I've passed this to our developers.

It's only possible to back up settings such as Styles, Brushes and Keyboard shortcuts at the moment. The ability to save preferences & workspace settings have been requested before and I'm sure it will be added in the future. Leigh

Working fine here on OS X 10.8. You need to make sure that you're right clicking over the Channel Names and not the blank space below. If you right click Composite Alpha do you get the Context Menu?

Are you still getting the error in the latest version, 1.4.1, from the Mac App Store?

Camera Profiles will be available in a future update but they are currently disabled as the developers are still working on this part of the app. When we know more about this feature and which profiles are supported, we'll let everyone know :)

Welcome to the forums ttsweet :) It's not possible to import Photoshop actions. We do have plans to add a new Persona to the app called Macro Persona that will allow you to record and playback Affinity actions :) For more info on what's coming check Affinity Photo's roadmap.
