  1. I've been unable to replicate this issue. Are you saving the files locally or to an external hard drive / network location?
  2. If you view the image at 100% in the Develop Persona, make relevant changes and then click Develop. Do the changes now show?
  3. When you buy an app from the Mac App Store you should receive an Invoice to the email address registered to the Apple ID. Did you receive an invoice?
  4. Yea, the following steps should work: 1. Open Portrait Pro and go to Preferences > Plugin 2. Click Run Plug-in Installer 3. Un-tick options for Adobe PS and PS Elements and click Choose Install Path Manually 4. Select a folder location and click open 5. Once installed, open Affinity Photo and go to Preferences > Plugins 6. Click Add under Plugin search folders and add the location where you installed the plugin above 7. Click Authorise Global under Plugin Support Folders 8. Click Close - the app will now restart 9. Go back to Preferences > Plugins - the plugin should now be listed. 10. Click Allow "unknown" Plugins and then close The plugin should now work from Filters > Plugins :)
  5. Welcome to the forum studio martin :) Try the following: 1. Select the Lines and go to Layer > Expand stroke 2. Select the Lines and Star shape and go to Layer > Geometry > Divide 3. Select the Star shape and go to Layer > Geometry > Divide to break the object apart We do have plans to add a Knife tool in the future tho to make this easier :) Hope this helps!
  6. The only way at the moment would be to select an individual icon and go File > Export and select "Selection without background" from the Area drop down. You can then specify the desired size. Our developers are in the process of rewriting the Export Persona to improve its export capabilities and give users the ability to specify a slice's width & height. More information here.
  7. I've been able to replicate your issue on Mavericks and will make sure it's passed to our devs! If you select any preset apart from PDF (For Export) you will be able to manually enter a value in the Use DPI field. The DPI set here will be the DPI used for embedded bitmaps.
  8. You could try selecting the Panel and go to Window > Zoom. This will then allow you to resize :)
  9. Welcome to the forums djendless :) You need to open the Mac App Store app and go to the Updates section. More information can be found here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201541 Hope this helps!
  10. At the moment it only seems possible with the Mesh Warp Tool. I agree, the Spherical Distort filter isn't far off. The Feature Request section in the Archived section is locked but you can still leave suggestions in this one: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/6-feature-requests/
  11. Thanks for the update. I'm sure Apple will figure out what's happening.
  12. Do you mean that your battery dies within three hours when running AD or just in general since installing AD? You could try ticking Use only Integrated GPU in Preferences > Performance to see if that improves things.
  13. You could export all slices to PDF and then use Apple's Preview to merge all the PDFs back into one document. Not sure which method is faster tho ;)
  14. Alternatively, you could create a master artboard containing your background and then place all other artboards inside the master artboard. You will need to use the Export Persona to create slices for each artboard to export them correctly.
  15. It's on the developers todo list, promise :) I have no ETA for when it will be resolved, sorry!
  16. I guess whatever you feel comfortable using. I personally hate Apple's Magic Mouse. I use a basic Microsoft mouse and it works a treat ;)
  17. It's not possible at the moment but it seems like a good improvement. I will move your suggestion to the Feature Request section.
  18. Welcome to the forums photodoc :) You will need to change the colour format of the image to CMYK first. Once changed, you should see all CMYK ICC profiles in Convert ICC profile... You can also set the default CMYK ICC profile in Preferences... along with Rendering Intent & Black Point Compensation.
  19. Our devs are focussed on finishing the features listed on our roadmap. Focus stacking has been requested before so hopefully this is something that will be added in the future :)
  20. It is possible to edit some properties of a brush by right clicking the Brush in the Brushes Panel and selecting Edit Brush...
  21. They're stored in two files called raster_brushes.propcol & vector_brushes.propcol. These files are located in: /Users/_YOUR_USERNAME_/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/user/ What are you wanting to do?
  22. My instructions should still work. You could also check out this video tutorial on adding borders: https://vimeo.com/channels/875980/134712830 You could also try the following: 1. Open image into AP 2. Unlock Background Layer 3. Select Move Tool and resize image using the ⌘ modifier - this will resize around the centre. 4. Add Quickshape and move below the Background Layer in the Layers Panel Video showing the above steps: Add Border Centre.mov
  23. They will appear in the Brushes Panel. You will need to click the drop down menu to show a list of all brushes available. Which app are you using and which Brush set did you install?
