  1. You could copy the ProPhoto colour profile from your MacBook Pro to your MacBook Air. It's normally stored in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles or /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Recommended :)
  2. Yep! Affinity will support both import and export for .hdr files and OpenEXR and JPEG-XR :)
  3. You could try creating a separate Spare Channel for both Highlights ( Select > Tonal Range > Select Highlights ) and Midtones ( Select > Tonal Range > Select Midtones ). Right click the first Spare Channel and select Load to Pixel Selection and then right click the second Spare Channel and select Add to Pixel Selection - this will combine both selections. With this selection you can add a new Adjustment Layer. Hope this helps!
  4. Hi bodich Is it possible to get a copy of your .afphoto file? This will allow me to look into your issue further :)
  5. Welcome to the forums TJ_ :) Internal and External CSS stylesheets are ignored when imported into AD. However, Inlines styles do work. This reply will explain the issue with Groups in SVG files. Our devs are hoping to add better support for CSS stylesheets and groups in the future :)
  6. Hi ziggy6894 It's not currently possible to bundle apps in the Mac App Store so you would have to buy the apps separately. You could use Apple's Volume Purchase Programme for Business to purchase, manage and distribute our apps. More information can be found here: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/business/ Hope this helps!
  7. Welcome to the forums rtb220 :) You will need to log into the Mac App Store on your MacBook Pro using the login details used to purchase the app. Once logged in you will need to go to the Purchased section and click Download next to Affinity Photo. Hope this helps!
  8. Is it possible to send me the file via PM to see if I get the issue?
  9. The Rotate options from the View menu rotate the workspace\canvas for easier editing. They don't change the orientation of the image. When you click Develop the image is processed. Any further edits in Photo or Develop are done to the processed image.
  10. You could use the Selection Brush to select the people and create a mask to remove the background. You could then add a new Pixel Layer and fill with a solid colour from the Colour/Swatches Panel. This video should help: https://vimeo.com/134729670
  11. It's not possible at the moment. This would be a feature better suited to Affinity Publisher. However, there's an easy workaround which A_B_C illustrates here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/16912-can-affinity-designer-flow-text-around-objects/?p=76664
  12. I'm pretty sure that multiple Masks within AP are converted to just one Mask when exporting to PSD. If you attach your AFF file to this thread I will try and figure out what's causing your issue :)
  13. Welcome to the forums tajmahal :) 1. The same option isn't available in Affinity Photo. An alternative way of doing it in Affinity Photo is to jump to the Quick Mask by pressing Q and then moving the selection using by pressing V. 2. This has been mentioned before and it's with our developers. 3. The only way around this is to manually change the shortcuts in the Preferences window. You can also hold CTRL + ALT + Left click while dragging to the Left or Right to resize the Brush Size.
  14. Welcome to the forum Carl_B :) I'm struggling to recolour the image because of the white ribbon. Do you happen to have photo featuring a coloured ribbon instead?
  15. Welcome to the forums JohnPsalm :) What problems do you have with the print out? Missing objects, wrong colours or poor quality?
  16. Can you try going to File > Print and then selecting Open PDF in Preview from the Print Dialog. Does your document display fine in Preview? If it does, do you get a better print if printed from Preview?
  17. Welcome to the forums stephentuso :D Seems like you want to scale the distance between objects without resizing the actual objects. There isn't an option at the moment to select multiple objects and resize them all to the same dimension. I think you're after a feature called Transform Each - this has been requested several times before and I'm sure that our devs will add a similar feature in the future.
  18. Perhaps the correct Layer is selected but it's just out of view? Your Layer could also be in a Group which is collapsed - this is normally highlighted by faint grey selection on the Group folder. If you right-click an object, where its layer is not showing as selected, and select Find in Layers Panel from the contextual menu are you taken to the highlighted layer in the Layers Panel? If you start a new document with one Layer does it appear highlighted?
  19. I'm pretty sure MattP, one of the devs, has a Wacom Cintiq tablet that he uses with Affinity apps and it works a treat. Hopefully Matt or another user with experience with this type of tablet and our apps can help you figure out what's happening.
  20. As long as you have Text as Curves selected from File > Export > PDF > Embed fonts: you should be fine. If you attach you .afdesign file to this thread or send me a PM with a link to it, I will be able to investigate further :)
  21. Welcome to the forums GordonLejeune :D You could use a Quick Mask to select the person's face and then use an Exposure Adjustment Layer with the selection to isolate the adjustment. This video shows how to use the Quick Mask feature: https://vimeo.com/130973259
  22. There was some issues with the rotate commands in the Develop Persona, so they've been temporarily removed. Our developers will bring them back at a later date when they're working correctly. In the meantime, you will have to Develop the image and then use Document > Rotate.... in the Photo Persona to rotate the image.
  23. When you go to Edit > Fill you can just select CMYK and enter 0,0,0,50 for 50% grey. Alternatively, you can set the 50% Grey shortcut in Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts > Miscellaneous. Once set, you could press the shortcut to set 50% grey in the Colour Panel and then go to Edit > Fill and select Primary Colour.
