  1. Thanks for replying Schorsch. Unfortunately, we're aware of this issue and our developers are investigating. I can only suggest that you downgrade to 1.7.3 to continue using the app with the startup issues. When I have more information, I will let you know.

  3. Thanks for getting back to me. We're still investigating this issue. Because you're using the Microsoft Store version, it's not currently possible to roll back to 1.7.3. You could try the beta builds to see if they work any better but I think you'll get the same issue. When I have more information, I will let you know.

  5. Thanks for replying. Do you use a font manager at all? I know this sounds simple but have you restarted your machine since installing the update?
  6. Welcome to forum Schorsch I'm sorry that you're having these issues. Is it possible to attach a copy of the crash report or a your Applications Log to this thread?

  11. Thanks for replying. We’ve had reports from users that our apps are no longer opening on Windows 10 after updating to 1.8. Our developers believe the issue is font related. So that we can look into this issue further is it possible to send us a copy of your font folders using the below link.   12. Welcome to the forum Dick Ridge Unfortunately, we've had quite a few reports of this from other users and we're investigating. You could try the latest beta builds, from the beta section on this forum, to see if they work or you can temporarily revert back to 1.7.3 from the below links.   16. Welcome to the forum Seestaller Can you navigate to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\ and rename 1.0 to 1.0.backup and then reopen Affinity Photo 1.8 to see if it loads.
