  1. Our developers are still working away in the background as explained here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/158382-when-will-the-next-beta-version-be-released/page/2/#comments
  2. Thanks for the feedback and we understand your frustration. Technical Support currently have no ETA for the next update but we're aware that this FAQ is affecting iPad users at the moment. When we get more information, we'll let everyone know. Out of interest, do you have any links to threads/post mentioning the other issues you're having?
  3. I'm just going off the information given to us from our QA team, who are under the impression that the 12.1 fixed this issue. However, we have since found another issue that could be causing the lag issue. I know @Dazmondo77 has tried OpenGL but I would be interested to know if the following suggestion improves things. Same goes for @unitizer
  4. I have updated the FAQ to mention the macOS Monterey 12.1 update 👍
  5. I've removed your attachment as Komatös is correct. The relevant terms can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/liasmani/journal/Resource-Rules-233786344
  6. I have a bit of an update on this issue. If you're using Affinity Photo on a M1/M1 Pro/M1 Max Macbook/iMac or using a display that supports Extended Dynamic Range, can you try re-enabling Metal from Preferences > Performance from within the app and turn off Automatic Brightness in System Preferences > Displays and see if this stops the app from lagging/beach balling when in use. Let me know how you get on
  7. Locking before this gets out of hand but thanks for your feedback @abra100pro
  8. Just wanted to let you know that I've bumped the logged issue again. Unfortunately, that's all the information I can give you at the moment.
  9. Pretty sure our developers are using the latest Macbooks with the M1 Max chips and i use a Macbook Air M1 and haven't noticed any issues. We're not aware of any specific issues but another user reported a similar issue but it resolved itself. Can you provide more information on this issue or a screen recording? I can then look into this further.
  10. It's strange that /defaults works for Photo and Designer but not /extract. Do you have access to another machine you can try it on?
  11. Welcome to the forum iSupport4me It's something our developers are aware of but it's not something we've been able to replicate. I would suggest that you try another machine to create the MSI file.
  12. If you're on a older version of macOS such as High Sierra, Mojave or Catalina you may get a blank screen when trying to register. If you're using Safari as your default browser, you will likely be on the latest version for your particular version of macOS, which will be version 13.x.x. The registration page is linked to Affinity Store accounts, which no longer supports Safari 13. We would suggest that you download another browser such as Chrome or Firefox and make this the default browser within macOS to get around this issue.
  13. Welcome to the forum WestHatch! We'll respond to your email with the relevant information 👍
  14. Users have reported an issue related to exporting after updating their iPad to 15.4 (or later). You may find that your exported image may not include recent changes and shows a previous edit of the image. Our developers are aware the issue and a workaround is to quit and reopen the app, open the same document from the Home Screen and export - this time it will export correctly.
  15. No worries and thanks for the update. Not sure what's possible but we'll see what can be done.
  16. Thanks for the update - happy to hear that it's working for you now 👍 I've spoken to our web engineer and he's unsure what could be causing the issue. Your request could be getting blocked by the firewall but he's checked the logs and can't see any recent blocks that match this situation. Apparently we've had over million requests to the forum servers over the past 24 hours and only 255 requests were blocked. However, if you connect via a VPN these aren't blocked by the firewall but by AWS, where our forum servers are located, and they block IPs if they're deemed to be untrustworthy. We're not sure what to suggest but we're planning to roll out an update to the forum next week, which may help. Alternatively, if you haven't tried similar steps to what Hens mentions above, it might be worth trying that too. The only other option is to keep trying when it happens to see if it eventually goes through but I suspect you've already been doing this.
  17. I will drop lacerto a message to see if this a forum issue or something else. Leave it with me. Regarding the '''' account, this is normally because the user asked for their forum account to be removed/deleted etc..
  18. @Friksel Thanks for replying. I know that Adblockers and VPN shouldn't cause this issue but i've had instances where they've affected specific websites and turning these types of plugins off have resolved said issues. I only use Chrome on both macOS and Windows and never had this issue. I've also searched the support forum for Invision Community and couldn't spot any related issues. However, I've sent a message to our engineer who looks after the forums to see if he has any idea what could be causing the issue. Will keep you updated.
  19. @Friksel Still looking into this but have been unable to replicate so far. You stated that you're not using any plugins but are you using any AdBlockers or a VPN? Do you have another device that can use to try logging into the site to see if you get the same issue? Is there any other information listed in the Console Error Logs?
  20. We've not seen any other reports of this issue but I will speak with our web team to see if they have any ideas what could be causing the issue.
