  1. @joe_l Seems like you have a different issue - please start your own thread and provide as much information as possible and we'll take a further look.
  2. Both Technical Support/QA have been looking into this and we "think" it's likely expected behaviour. I quickly tried to compare the same process in similar apps to see if they gave different results but was unable due to the apps requiring the same colour mode for both the adjustments and document. Have you been able to compare the results to other apps at all? The process you're using is very specific and is not something most users will run into. I completely understand your comments about wanting to get a detailed definition on how our functions are implemented and work at a low level but this information is only something our developers can comment on. As you're aware, our developers time is finite and as stated above, this is a specific workflow that most users won't come across, so it may take some time getting the information you require, if possible.
  3. Will lock this thread now as it's getting further away from OP's feedback and the nature of this forum.
  4. Thanks for the feedback and I will be sure to pass it on. It's definitely not a dead person but you've all made your point
  5. Have you tried Darren's solution above of closing the app and re-launching? Let me know how you get on.
  6. I wanted to give you an update on this. i've been trying to replicate this scenario on my iMac but couldn't. Will try again on a Windows machine when I get chance. Thanks again for sharing your experience and if I manage to replicate the issue, I will let you know 👍
  7. This thread has been flagged numerous times over the years but more so over the past month. I don't want to give out warnings or lock this thread but I wanted to clarify Affinity’s position regarding some of the topics that are the cause of heated exchanges which get subsequently reported to moderators. Affinity do not have an issue with users trying to get our apps working on Linux, as long as users are aware that Affinity won’t be offering any support or advice on how to get our apps working or how to improve performance via WINE etc. Feel free to use this thread as a way of sharing information that may be useful to other Affinity users trying to get the apps running on Linux but as we’ve stated numerous times, we have no plans to bring our apps to Linux, so it’s pointless arguing and getting frustrated with each other. I would also like to state that if you’re not a fan of Linux or have no intention/interest in wanting/trying to get our apps working on Linux, perhaps you should avoid this thread completely.
  8. Thanks for the update and information - very useful. Will try and replicate, making sure to pass any findings to our developers.
  9. Thanks for trying. Would it be possible to try changing the display profile back to the default macOS display profile in System Preferences > Display to see if that improves things? Thanks again for your cooperation on this 👍
  10. I've spoken with our QA team and they're not sure would could be causing the issue. However, I can see you're using a M1 Macbook and we've had a few issues related to EDR. Just out of interest, can you try the suggestion here to see what happens: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/152762-macbook-m1-pro-terrible-lag-beach-ball-nearly-unusable-text-feature/&do=findComment&comment=918932 Also, do you know if you're using a custom display profile?
  11. Sorry for the delay in replying. I've had a look at your .dmp file but it didn't shed any light on the issue, sorry. The only other option I can offer is to use Task Manager to create a dmp file - this will hopefully catch the issue when the app crashes/hangs. When the app hangs, open Task Manager and right-click on the process and select "Create dump" to write a full dump of this process. The dump file should be found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\ but Task Manager will usually show the dump file name and location once the dump has been written. Please upload the dmp file(s) here: https://www.dropbox.com/request/BiZxmcbW547U8JhTLZrl
  12. Several of the more recent posts in this thread have been reported to the moderators. I know this is a sensitive subject for some but please avoid personal attacks and keep it on topic 👍
  13. Please try: https://www.dropbox.com/request/ejpPEAaMmdqW7hhCm9jB
  14. Thanks for the information. I can see above that you mention that the app crashes when in English but not in German. Are you currently using it in German? If you are, can you temporarily switch back to English and see if it crashes? Would be useful to get a cash report
  15. Solo para aclarar, ¿estás usando la RX 460 o la RX 460M? ¿Su máquina también tiene una GPU integrada? ¿Sabes qué versión de controladores estás usando para la GPU?
  16. Thanks for the update. Dan is out of the office this week but is it possible to see if you have any Crash Reports available by following this FAQ: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/98904-where-to-find-crash-reports/#comment-529428 Do you also happen to know if you an integrated graphics card on your system or do you only have the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 GPU installed?
  17. Out of curiosity, can you also try going Preferences > Performance > Display and change this to Software and see if it till crashes. Thanks!
