Strange, it's working here for me. Does it happen with different RAW images? You could try resetting the app by holding the CTRL key down when launching the app.

Thanks for the suggestion pnelson3 B)

If it's not on the list, it's not currently supported. However, we are hoping to add more cameras to list during the beta.

We will be adding more supported cameras during the beta. To keep up to date with which cameras are supported, click here. Hope this helps!
Welcome to the forum :)

If you set the UI Gamma in Preferences > User Interface to the max setting, it should make it easier to spot the active tool.

Seems to be working here fine. Can you try again?! How big was the .dmg file that you downloaded?

Thanks for the feedback stoneworks. Happy to hear you're enjoying Affinity Photo :)
To make the penquins disappear, you need the Inpainting brush. Happy Photo editing!

The Start Panel in Affinity Designer shows artwork created by our users. I'm pretty sure Affinity Photo will have similar content displayed in its Start Panel. However, I will pass your suggestion to the Developers.
Thanks for the Feedback mathelme :)

You can find Topaz Plugins in Mac HD > Library > Application support > Topaz Labs > {Plugin Name} > Plugins. You can add this folder to Affinity Photo using ronniemcbride's instructions :)

This is mostly down to VMWare not supporting 3D acceleration in OS X guests.
I had the same issue at home, so I installed OS X on my desktop PC or "Hackintosh" which kinda worked but was very temperamental. In the end I just brought a MAC, so much easier. Also, Apple block the Mac App store from working on non Apple hardware, so you wouldn't be able to install Affinity Designer anyway!

SilverSkyRat, the trial version is now available from our home page :)

Hi Nikson! X is the only shortcut listed in the help for switching between Line/Color. If you check out the Affinity Designer feature roadmap, customisable shortcut keys are planned.

It's not possible to convert an object to a brush at the moment. However, you can export your object as a raster image, such as PNG, and then create a New Textured Image Brush using the exported image.
To do this, go to the Brushes Panel and right click on an existing brush. Select New Textured Image Brush and select your image. Your brush will now appear at the bottom of the list. You can edit your brush by right clicking it and selecting Edit Brush...

Welcome Narlei. This is all possible with Affinity Designer. Check out the Affinity Designer Promo videos to see what AD can do :)
-
Welcome ZVK. Are you wanting to find the font used in an image?
-
It's not possible to import brushes into AD at the moment, sorry.

No problem. If you have any questions or need help with AD, you know where we are :)

Love it B)

Thanks for the update, leonahussey. Glad to hear it's working. If you experience similar issues again, please let us know.

Thanks again for getting back to me! Still unsure what's causing your issue. I think we should try resetting the app back to factory defaults. Please note, this will clear any custom settings you have within the app. If you still want to proceed, do the following:
1. Close Affinity if it's running
2. Hold CTRL down on your keyboard
3. Whilst holding CTRL, open Affinity making sure you still have CTRL held down
You should now see the Clear User Data window. Click Clear - see attached screenshot.
-
Not sure if this helps but the next update to Affinity Designer is going to have a Continuous Export feature. More information can be found here.

You can find the Affinity Designer feature roadmap here. Symbols is listed under Illustration & Design :)

Thanks for the video MEB :)
