Affinity Designer doesn't currently have a flood vector tool, sorry. MEB describes a workaround here. Hope this helps.

[Sharing artwork made with Photo Beta?]

Nice work penwiper! Other Affinity Photo users have been adding their work to the Share your work section. You could add a tag to the post to let other users know which software was used to create the artwork.

[Affinity Photo Beta crashes on startup]

Are you able to open any of the samples from the Startup panel without it crashing? You could try resetting Affinity Photo - hold down the CTRL key when launching the APP and select all options.

You can reset Affinity Photo by holding down the CTRL key while launching the application - this will get Photo back in working order. Hope this helps!

When you sign up for the Affinity Photo Beta, you receive an email containing a link to download the beta application. Did you receive an email with the subject "You are now signed up to the public Affinity Photo beta"?

What happens when you try and download it? Do you get an error message? Perhaps you could try a different browser.

Strange. Does your image have more than one layer at all?

For what it's worth, if you right click on the app and select 'show package contents', then browse down to 'Resources' you'll find a file called 'AffinityPhoto.help' select 'show package contents' again, open 'Contents' then 'Resources and copy/paste 'English.lproj' (don't !!! drag and drop it, you'll lose help out of Affinity) to somewhere else and by double clicking on 'index.html' the help pages will open in a browser. That gets you help without opening the app. So far I've only been able to get it onto an iPad by copying it to a local intranet server and browsing to it. If anyone has any further thoughts, please, let fly.

 

I was going to suggest this but got distracted. You could try adding the files to Dropbox and share the folder over the web. This should allow you to browse it as a website through the browser.

I'm not seeing this banner when browsing affinity.serif.com or serif.com. Which browser are you using? Is it possible to take a screenshot of the banner?

This may sound silly, but does the image open OK in other applications? Where is the image stored?

We're sorry that it's not currently supported. As stated above, we're hoping to add more cameras to the supported list during the beta.

[Clone and healing brush]

Once you have the Clone or Healing brush selected, you need to press & hold the ALT key and single left click to set the source. Let go of ALT and you'll notice a small back cross where you set the source. Now move your brush to set the distance between your source & destination and start editing. Hope this helps.
