    I agree with MikeFromMesa, the Macro Persona seems to be the feature that you'll need to use. Unfortunately, the Macro persona will not feature in the initial release. More information can be found here.

    Welcome to the forums, Cleatless! Once you've made your changes you need to press the Develop button:

    Depending on how complex the logo is, I would use the Flood Eraser Tool in Affinity Photo. You can use the Tolerance slider from the context toolbar to adjust the range of pixels affected when using this tool. Once you've removed the white background you can go to File > Export... > PNG and select Selection without background from the Export drop down.

    I have used Calibre to convert the HTML help to an .epub file. This is my first attempt at the conversion, so there could be some errors - please ignore the poor cover :) Let me know what you think. Affinity Photo Beta Help.zip

    I have been able to convert the help to an epub file which opens in iBook. I will attach to this thread later today.

    I've been trying to replicate your issue, but have been unable to. Is it possible for you to try removing and reinstalling the software?

    With the character selected go to Layer > Geometry > Divide. You will also need to use the combine function to remove the 3 segments from the body of the main character. I have attached an updated version to this post.

    Just tried both the English and French versions and the help displays fine. I will continue to investigate :)
