  1. Perhaps you'll get more support by posting your Indiegogo link on forums and facebook pages dedicated to Origami. If Origami Enthusiasts find your models interesting, i'm sure they'll support you :)
  2. Apple's Map API will only work with apps distributed through the Mac App Store, so it's only available to the MAS version.
  3. Hi :) You could try creating a Mask from a Channel by going to the Channels Panel and right clicking on the desired channel and selecting Create Mask Layer. You then need to create a Curves Adjustment Layer and make your Mask a child of the adjustment layer.
  4. Hi AllyP, welcome to the forums! Without seeing the image it's hard to advise what to do, but if light has washed out part of the image you could use a Levels adjustment layer to adjust the White Level of the image. You could also use a Shadows/Highlights adjustment layer too. The built-in help will give you more information about the Flood Fill Tool, Eye Dropper and Paint Brush Tool. This can be found by going to Help > Affinity Photo Help Hope this helps!
  5. Do you still have a copy of the .cube file and the Affinity Photo project file? It would be nice to find out why it didn't work :/
  6. If the adjustment layer is below the empty layer you're using to "inpaint", then it should work. Is it possible to share your document with us?
  7. Welcome to the forums djharr! It sounds like the file was created and exported from Illustrator. EPS files normally exported from Illustrator will contain many bitmaps and a comment containing a copy of the Illustrator document. Illustrator ignores the EPS part and opens the Illustrator document - this explains why Illustrator is able to open the EPS file without any problems. Our apps can only read the EPS portion of the file. Is it possible to download the file from Shutterstock in another format, such as PDF or SVG?
  8. Welcome to the forums bnoel! There are several ways to recreate a negative style image. You could use ⌘ + I on your layer or use an Invert Adjustment Layer. You could also use a Levels Adjustment Layer by moving the Black Level slider to right and the White Level Slider to the Left - using this method gives you more control :) Hope this helps!
  9. I've downloaded the Color Finale trial and it's accepting 3D LUTS i've created with Affinity Photo. Which adjustment layers did you use?
  10. Hi mak, welcome to the Affinity forums :) You can paint in grey to control opacity but you can also use the Erase Brush Tool, Gradient Tool and more to control a Mask's opacity. You can also press Q to jump into the Quick Mask Mode. More information can be found by typing Quick Mask selections into Affinity Photo's help - Help > Affinity Photo Help.
  11. Moved to the Feature Request section for other users to comment on :)
  12. Ticking Use Automatic Grid should take you back to the standard Grid Layout. You could also change the First Axis to 0° and the Second Axis to 90° when Standard is selected.
  13. Hi Paul W - welcome to the forums! You will need to create or find a RGB texture image from the net. Once you have this, follow these steps: Open an image into AFD Draw a rectangle over the image using the Rectangle Tool With the rectangle selected, click the Gradient Tool and select Bitmap from the Type dropdown Select your RGB texture image and adjust Here's my quick attempt:
  14. That's not confusing at all, ha ;) Thanks Paul and Matt! - you live and learn :)
  15. MEB is correct. My objects were overlapping slightly instead of touching each other.
  16. I'm pretty sure in the future we'll make users specify which app their thread is about :)
  17. I'm not seeing this issue. Is it possible to add your document to this thread for me to play with?
  18. The file has no extension, so I'm unable to open it. Have tried adding .zip & .png to the file but no joy. Can you provide a link to a working file :)
  19. You would normally use Swashes from OpenType fonts but you could use the Pen tool to create your own.
  20. ON1 plugins do not currently work with Affinity Photo. ON1 have suggested that they will try and offer better integration with AP in the future. More information here.
  21. There's no default colour shortcut at the moment. You could use the X shortcut to easily flip between the Stoke and Fill colours and manually change the colour from the Colour or Swatch panels.
