If you're getting the error "... CONCRT140.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error" when trying to run any Affinity V2 app on Windows, please download and install the Microsoft.VCLibs.x64.14.00.Desktop.appx package from Microsoft here. Once installed you will be able to run Affinity V2 without any issues.

Also, which version of Windows are you using? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/which-version-of-windows-operating-system-am-i-running-628bec99-476a-2c13-5296-9dd081cdd808

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue with V2. Strange question but have you ever changed the permissions for the WindowsApps folder in C:\Program Files?

Accessing Affinity V2 apps from other apps
Leigh replied to Leigh's topic in Frequently Asked Questions about V2 software
Unfortunately, we've had reports that the above locations are not working for certain apps. It's an issue our developers are aware of and is discussed here but they have also provided a workaround below: -
With the launch of Affinity V2, our V1 apps are no longer available to purchase. This means they have been removed from our website or the App Stores. Don't worry, if you've purchased an Affinity V1 app in the past you will still be able to download the app from your Affinity Store account or the Purchased Apps section in the App Store, Mac App Store and the Microsoft Store. Re-download apps and games from Apple How to Reinstall Apps You’ve Purchased from the Microsoft Store Open Microsoft Store Go to My Library On the right side of the window, you should see Sort and filter drop-down menu Make sure Show installed products only isn't ticked

Is your machine on a network at all or managed by a company? If so, I think this setting can also be enforced via Group Policy.

Error on Install
Leigh replied to mr_pryzm's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Can you tell me which version of Windows you have installed following the steps here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/msix/how-to-install-msix-package-on-windows-build-17692/m-p/206498 Also, can you check if you have this app installed? https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/app-installer/9NBLGGH4NNS1?hl=en-gb&gl=gb -
I think installing the dependency from this thread may have also resolved the issue:

Can you trying using the PowerShell method mentioned here to see if the app will install?
-
If you right click the MSIX file and go to Open with, do you get the App Installer option listed?
-
Thanks for trying. Can you try restarting your machine and try again? if that fails, can you go into EventViewer and see if you have anything listed there relating to this issue: Application and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > AppxDeployment-Server > Microsoft-Windows-AppXDeploymentServer/Operational
