Doesn't help to change the Brush. I do agree that its a lot more pixels, and it help to make the brush bigger, but the result is almost impossible to see. I guess its the blur filter that needs to be used in this case.

Its much easier to control the brush for the blur on certain areas, that's why I use the Blur tool. Here is a link to a video. https://www.dropbox.com/s/din2o0jlg8ffyhn/affinity-blur.mov?dl=0 Image is 5000x4000, then the blur does not appear, then I scale the image to 500x400, and then I can blur. I know there are a lot more pixels in the larger image, but it should be possible to blur it.

I have some issues with the Blur tool. It works fine, when I use it on a small image. e.g. 500x500. If I use it on an image that is 5000x5000, nothing happens when I use the tool. All settings are set to 100%, I am on the correct layer Is this a bug, or is there a setting or work around. I do not wat to use the Blur filter.
