    Hi rogershuff, I have opened your file in the 2 previous builds and the file looks the same (with added decoration to the text frame) in each build. I've not seen any other posts with the same issue yet so this has a few of us in the office curious! Have you imported any text styles at all?

    Hi Forum Persona, In Affinity apps you will need to keep the document you're working on. This maybe changed in the future.

    Hi Roger terry, Does the crash occur when you're working with a specific document? I have tried replacing all text myself in my own document and I haven't encountered any crash yet. Could you provide the file and steps you followed to replicate the crash? Thanks.

    Hi Mark, Are you using the latest build? (1.7.0.157) This was an issue with the previous build but i believe this was fixed.

    Hi A_B_C Thanks for your post This sounds like it could possibly be a memory leak issue. Would it be possible to send the file? We can test it here and hopefully pinpoint the issue.

    Hi jboone If you have the contents of a text frame selected only the text will be deleted using the delete key, If you use the Move Tool to select the frame itself, the delete key will remove the text frame.

    Hi pabloovl Check Task Manager and make sure the app isn't already running. End the task if it is and try again (run as administrator) Also, can you check if any Antivirus programs are blocking the app at all?
