Hi Arta
Yes, you can create a spare channel by right clicking in the channels tab (Bottom right corner of the app) and edit the spare channel by right clicking it also :)
I hope this helps!

Hi Jackdc
Welcome to the forum! :)
We don't have an app for iPad just yet, this is being researched and tested as we speak.
Here's a taster of Designer working on an iPad, watch this space! :)

Hi Sascha,
Have you experienced similar issues with any of your projects or just the sample specifically?
If you have had this issue with your own files, would it be possible to provide them so we could take a look? I'm unable to replicate this here.

Hi houseofdeadleg!
This is not possible yet, but it's on our roadmap (Warp/perspective distortion tools).
It will be coming in a future update :)

Hi,
Welcome to the forums! :)
I would suggest taking a look at this tutorial, each step taken in this video is described in detail and this seems to be the same thing you are looking to do. Use the Selection Brush to define an area, then Copy and Paste the selection into your project. If there's anything specifically you are not sure about just comment on this thread again and I will try my best to make it easier to understand :)
We do not have a specific user guide of any kind at the moment, but you can refer to the inbuilt help or just post any questions you have on this forum.

Hi duendecito,
Welcome to the forum!
The red 'X' you see on the cloud icon suggests it is downloading.
After some time (depending on your network connection) this should disappear and you can open the sample file.
With regards to the Toggle Full Screen shortcut, this is correct. The ⌃ you can see in the shortcut refers to the CTRL key. As seen here.

Hi casthely
Welcome to the forum! :)
Do you have the correct layer selected?
If you do have the layer selected and you still have no joy with the brush, please provide me with a copy of your file so I can investigate further.

Hi Luke,
Are you trying to install the plugin to work with Affinity?
I'm unsure what help you are looking for exactly.

Hi Neil
Welcome to the forums! :)
I have been looking at some of the tutorials for this and found that most of the steps are just the same in Affinity Photo. I have been using this tutorial as a guide and the only differences are;
Step 4: Hue and Saturation is called HSL adjustment within Affinity, this can be found under Layer>New Adjustment Layer> HSL Adjustment
Step 5: Affinity Photo does not have the Photo Filter, but you can achieve the same effect using Lens Filter (Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Lens Filter Adjustment) Just set the colour to blue and then continue as advised in the tutorial.
I hope this helps, if there's anything you're not sure about just let me know :)

Hi FreshGresh!
It is not possible to change the cursors that show when using different tools.
Ill move this post over to the Feature Requests section.

Hi FreshGresh,
Welcome to the forum!
You can download brushes from the Resources section of the forum, many users provide their own brushes so you should find quite a variety :)
Affinity Designer does support .abr files so you should be able to import brushes from Illustrator in this format with no issues

Hi,
This is something that has been requested before, but we have no plans to create something like it at the moment.

Hi Tomek,
There's no specific feature for this, but you can convert a quickshape object to curves then use the Node Tool, which would give you the same results. There are also other ways of doing this as MEB has explained in this post.
I hope this helps!J
