  1. I think it is exciting that they are coming out with a 16" and think the keyboard layout being customizable is amazing. I really like having a 10 key pad; except I don't really NEED a 16" laptop. I use my 13" currently when we are traveling and I'm in the passenger seat which a 16" would be too cumbersome in this scenario and I use it for 10+ hours every day of the trip. I'll probably get a bluetooth keypad to use with my business to speed up input. I've wanted a DIY laptop since I got my first one so many years ago! Only thing they don't have that I wish they did (or I would have bought it last year) was I prefer a touch screen. I figure it they can work that out, it will probably be modular as well and I can swap it. I love the bit where you can arrange the module cards so that it fits your need; I have wanted the 2 USB-C ports on the left side of the laptop since I got my HP. Now I have possibilities! I usually go bluetooth so that works out for me! Thanks!
  2. This has become a bit confusing. I'm not sure whether an Intel i7 or an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 would work better with Affinity Designer & Photo 2 software. I want to get this preordered ASAP so it doesn't get the preorders all taken and have to wait a lot longer. I will be using my laptop for designing projects to cut out on my laser, as well as photography editing. Will Intel be better or Ryzen Intel i7-1360P (up to 5.0GHz, 4+8 cores) 16 GB OR i7-1370P (up to 5.2GHz, 6+8 cores) 32GB Link to specs of the above choices https://frame.work/products/laptop-diy-13-gen-intel/configuration/edit AMD Ryzen 5 or AMD Ryzen 7 Link to specs of the above choices: https://frame.work/products/laptop-diy-13-gen-amd/configuration/edit I'm really excited about this. I've wanted a modular build it yourself since I owned my very first laptop. We've been keeping our eyes out for their newest releases. My husband is going to wait for the 16" laptop which he just put in a reservation for. He wears his laptops out because he uses it for business and pleasure and the modular design will be perfect for him. Thank you for taking the time to look over my choices and comment.
