Having a search option in the custom shortcuts settings would be incredibly helpful, including keys that use modifiers for functions. By pressing a key in a search box, you could easily see the function it's tied to, instead of having to go through drop-down menus to find or assign keyboard shortcuts. Additionally, searching for a specific function would show any keyboard shortcuts assigned to it.
