[Applying mask on embedded object or vector layer]

Thanks Leigh, my problem was that I was in vector persona and when you try to draw with Vector Brush Tool onto mask, it always creates a new layer. As opposed to Brush Tool in pixel persona it works fine.

Hey guys,

 

is there any possibility to create a mask for embedded object or vector layer? Every time I try to paint into that mask it creates a new pixel layer. I don't wanna rasterize that layer.
