Thanks Walt, but that was the guidance that I followed - three times. And it seems that as a FAQ, I can't post there, I started this thread to try and tease out some more options.

As the tin says - I keep getting the parsing problem error when trying to install from the download, even after following Leigh's suggestion and rebooting - three times ☹️. The powershell fix doesn't seem to work for me, probably my unfamiliarity with it. Running W10 Home on an AMD processor. Any other options? This is not a good start to something supposed to be a big improvement over its predecessor, V1 might have been clunky but at least it installed and ran ...

Ed here, from Dunnunda*. Had problems with V1 photo, hoping that V2 will be an easier learn. Use as an amateur photog, hoping to make better pictures! Looking forward to trying V2, just as soon as I can get it to run! *Canberra region, Australia
