Opentype-SVG also works inside Inkscape. I too would like Affinity Designer 2 to have the same ability.

Symbols not dragging onto artboard

Hello, I'm a newbie to Affinity Designer but technically literate for the most part....using Windows. I can create symbols but when I try dragging them onto the artboard it doesn't work for me. They don't drop onto the artboard. Is there a setting that I may have engaged to cause this to happen? Thanks.
