Hi, About the scissors, instead of erasing with the pixel tool i think the easiest would be to cut 2 parts and delete the new created line Idealy ì would cut both side and press delete but maybe i miss something here cause the procedure is more complex: When cut in two places i have to move each nodes, sometimes it select the wrong one. Then i need to erase all nodes to make the line disapear. Does someone have a better way to replace the eraser with the scissors ? Thanks

Hi, If i use Scissor tool and cut a curve at 2 separates places, i would expect to be able to delete the resulting line. The problem is when i select the resulting line with Node tool, it also select all the original curve and they are on the same layer. To delete the resulting line ,i must to right click, Geometry - Separate curves. Then the 2 lines are on separate layers Is there a way to select it ? I don't know if i'm missing something here Thanks

A white line when joining curves
tommy5050 replied to tommy5050's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
For example (really not usefull) i make a rectangle with 2 sides with a pencil and 2 sides with Pen (line) then i select the curves, right click Geometry then Merge Curves. Normally all the lines would be closed and i could color it but they aren't closed i guess Merge only makes them on the same layer but doesn't close them together -
A white line when joining curves

Hi For a closed shape i understand that the start point must meet the end point But i didn't do the shape in one step I merged the 3-4 curves together but when i fill it it's like if it remembers that the end and start point doesn't meet I could do it all again but is there a way to close this without meeting the 2 points ? Thanks ! -
Still no "Live Paint Bucket"?

You can select the curve and select a color it should be colored even if the curve isn't closed I think the curve must be done in one time because two merged curves doesn't make a good result
