    Hi rudyryk,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
When you create a document, if you tick Create artboard (right below the Document Units dropdown on top) Affinity Designer will use an artboard based document which lets you easily resize it selecting it in the Layers panel and dragging its bounding box handles with the Move Tool. For existing documents you can convert them selecting the Artboard Tool and clicking Insert Artboard in the context toolbar.

    Hi 3ark (and csp),
    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Thank for the heads-up. Somehow this one fall off the radar.
Issue logged to be looked at.

My quick and dirty way of doing this is to create a layer with an outline that I can use to "snap to" when I need to crop later. Making a mask is also a good possibility. Either way, you still have to recrop, but you have a guideline to follow so you can repeat the size and position. Recropping will also be easier if you save your crop settings.

You can create slices of the areas in the export persona.

I actually don't know It´s actually not possible yet to specify the resultion of the individual slices or if they are just exported at their "native" pixel dimensions.

If it's not possible yet I think they want to improve the export options so I strongly think that this will be an option.

Instead of the auto levels being a filter for one time use, I'd like to see this as an adjustment setting within the Levels (along side default, darken and lighten), it would be nice to have it as a starting point to then adjust and tweak like any other adjustment level layer.

it will take some time that we see more affinity related retouching tutorials but the standard approach is independent from the software you use.  the dvd of natalia taffarel is free of bullshit wannabe retouchers like spread and should give you a very good starting point.   i also very much recommed the books of gry garness, it is sad she passed away so early....  everything both show can be easily translated to AP.

Every picture has a different way. The selection needs to be "good".

I too was going to suggest HSL adjustments by first adding an HSL adjustment layer and then inverting its layer mask by Cmd-I following which you can paint in on the mask in white the areas to which you wish the adjustment to apply.

You can go Select> colour range> select red
If you deselect the parts you don't want, you can use the HSL adjustment layer and the red slider to adjust the saturation.

You can ajust the feathering to blend if you have to.
