  1. I had downloaded the trial, and then I bought the universal license. No matter what I did, the trial kept coming up rather than the Licensed version. I then uninstalled the trial version from the control panel and did a reinstall of the new downloaded licensed version. Now I have no links on the desktop, start menu or quick launch menu. I tried reinstaling and no links appear anywhere. I couldn't find the installation location so I searched onlne and found the location in the WindowsApps folder. I manually set up links on my desktop, but the have only a generic icon. How can I fix this so they show up with appropriate icons on the desktop and are are also present in the start menu? (I can then drag them to my quick launch menu myself) Thanks Mark
  2. Hello, I recently purchased the Affinity Apps for Windows. I am looking to convert a 30 page catalog from InDesign to Affinity Designer. I am looking tp convert a 30 page catalog from InDesign CS4 to Affinity Designer. I would like to put placeholders in all the product locations and use something like a csv or excel file to populate the product locations. Each location has several components; a background image, a product image, a description, a photo credit (which can be in any one of 3 positions, and a a image tag (special, new, best seller, etc) which can be in two locations. All the components would need their own style (which could be specified in the placeholders). Does Designer have any of this data merge capability? (or a scripting capability) Thanks Mark
